My client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about developing students and has experience of teaching.
The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of dedicated staff, all of whom are genuinely passionate about their subject and support every student in reaching their full potential. You will be managing a student group, working closely with a range of departments across the College such as learning resources, learning skills, student support and the progress coach team.
The ideal candidate would possess an industry related background within the personal training, health and fitness sector as well as having teaching and delivery experience of the personal training qualification up to level 3.
The role will include the administration of modules, preparation and delivery of classroom-based lectures, practical delivery and marking the assessment of student work. As well as this you will be required to support the management of a student cohort via target setting and monitoring.
The successful candidate will ideally have a L6 qualification in a vocationally relevant area and will have prior teaching experience, ideally in a further education environment. You will hold a teaching qualification, although applications are welcomed from those with vocational experience only, who are willing to undertake a teaching qualification and show a passion for learner development.
