Account Manager £30,000 basic + bonus

Our client are an established family run business who have been operating for over two decades. They are seeking a Customer Service/Account Manager to provide excellent customer service and to promote their products and services to existing and new customers.  

Main objective; Ensuring the department is running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention,meet customer expectations and increase sales.

 Key Responsibilities:  

  •  Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth

  •  Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution

  •  Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission

  •  Develop service procedures, policies and standards

  •  Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions

  •  Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports using Excel

  •  Keep ahead of industry developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement

  •  Control resources and utilise assets to achieve targets

  • Visiting existing and new customers to upsell products and services

  •  Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities


  •  Proven working experience in team leader/supervisory customer service role

  •  Ability to upsell/cross-sell to existing customers

  •  Experience in providing customer service support

  •  Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools

  •  Ability to think strategically

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills

  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

  • Customer service orientation

The company offer uncapped commission, operating hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm
