Deputy Care Manager

Our client has a lovely residential Care Home for older/dementia persons near Frodsham, Chester area is looking for a Deputy Care Home Manager to join the team, during our current Deputy’s Maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to become an integral team member and will support the Manager in all aspects of home management, ensuring that residents are assisted to maintain independence for as long as possible. The responsibilities of this role will be varied but will include, care planning, medication management, auditing, risk assessments, liaising with families, healthcare professionals, personal care, assisting residents with daily tasks, safeguarding, staff management and the general running of home, overall, ensuring that our service users receive the highest quality care possible.
This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager who has worked with older people and dementia previously. You must have relevant qualifications to support your application, ideally holding the NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care. As a Deputy Manager you must be a dynamic and approachable individual, with strong leadership and communication skills.
Applications from experienced Senior Care Assistants with a varied skillset will be considered.
The Deputy Manager will be contracted to 40 hours per week and the rota will be issued in advance. The successful candidate must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS and satisfactory references
The anticipated salary will be in the region of £20 -£22 k depending on knowledge and previous experience.
