Part Time Order Processor (20 hours per week)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading manufacturing company based in Newcastle under Lyme. They are seeking an experienced Order Processor due to continued growth to support their Production team. The role will be 20 hours per week; over five days – flexible working hours to suit the right candidate.

Supporting the Senior Manager, you will be dealing with medium to large customers via phone and email ensuring that they receive the best customer service whilst working to tight timescales.

 

Duties to include:

  • Inputting medium to large orders using inhouse system and corresponding with Excel

  • Liaising with the Production team to ensure any increase in orders are notified

  • Working closely with the Administration/Transport and Senior Management team

  • Updating Manager of any amendments to orders

  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks

  • Responding to enquiries via phone and email as they arise

  • Working within a busy production environment

  • Providing excellent customer service to all customers

  • Updating customers with any progress of escalated queries

The ideal candidate will have a strong administration/order processing background, ideally within a customer focused environment.

Previous working experience of using Excel spreadsheets is highly advantageous.
