Training Coordinator

A leading client based in Newcastle under Lyme are seeking a Training Co-ordinator. Due to continued expansion and staff development, a Training Co-ordinator is required to take full responsibility for all external and inhouse training. This role will incorporate the commercial, financial and operational aspects of both classroom and e-learning services.

Daily duties to include:

  • Responsible for the co-ordination of course bookings, invoicing and payments

  • Manage the departmental resources including diary management and provision of works instructions for National Trainers, preparation of course material and consumables and booking course lunches/client accommodation as appropriate

  • Management of day-to-day Training Centre logistics, including (but not limited to) preparation of training rooms, welcome and welfare of candidates, provision of refreshments and lunches, housekeeping and re-preparation of training rooms for next sessions

  • Preparation of course certificates, cards etc

  • Assist with the invigilation of examinations and marking of test papers

  • Provide telephone support for e:learning customers

  • Manage repeat works such as refresher course bookings

     

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a client-facing role

  • Experience of handling sensitive data appropriately

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications

  • Commercially aware

  • Professional, personable and courteous

  • Highly organised

  • Remain calm under pressure

  • Able to multitask

  • Able to prioritise
