Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Hounslow – Up to £600 per week – September Start

We are excited to be working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Hounslow that is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. If you’re a recent graduate with a passion for Maths, Science, or Engineering – and you're considering a career in education – this is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic classroom environment.

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For

  • A 2:1 or above in a STEM-related degree (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, etc.)
  • Confidence in supporting students with challenging concepts at both GCSE and A-Level
  • A proactive, positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Experience in tutoring or mentoring is welcomed, but not essential
  • A genuine passion for learning, teaching, and making STEM subjects accessible

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Your Role

  • Join a vibrant secondary school in Hounslow full-time from September
  • Support STEM departments by working closely with subject teachers and students
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions in Maths and Science
  • Help plan and deliver engaging, practical, and interactive STEM lessons
  • Earn up to £600 per week while developing your teaching style and classroom presence
  • Gain invaluable experience ahead of teacher training or postgraduate study
