Maths Teacher – The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to develop confidence and success in mathematics.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Teaching Key Stage 5 Mathematics where appropriate and experience allows

Monitoring, assessing, and tracking student progress

Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment

Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential

Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

Participating fully in the wider life of the school
Maths Teacher – Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training
-
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A commitment to raising achievement and supporting student success

The ability to contribute positively to a collaborative department and school culture

ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

Applicants must currently reside in Kent or be willing to relocate to Kent prior to commencing employment
