Permanent Position

Due to continued growth and success my client are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a new role working for a leading company in its field that provide solutions to many sectors within the UK. As a company they are relied upon to take a considered approach to problem solving and solution finding, and as such it is their customer centric approach that has helped to secure brand status and awareness over the past 30 years. Within this role you will be establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.  You will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and pursuing growth opportunities for the company. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base and cultivating strong business relationships.

Key Duties:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market presence
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential target markets
  • Devise a systematic approach to building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers through effective networking and relationship management
  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and finance to better enhance the customer experience
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients and partners both on site and off site
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company
  • Track and report KPIs related to business development activities

Skills Required:

  • Previous sales/business development experience
  • Drive, ambition & motivation
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to sell and negotiate
  • A passion for providing great service and support to the customer
  • Organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Work on own initiative
  • Proficient on systems
  • Competent in working with CRM
  • Full clean UK Driving licence
