We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites while also working hands-on when required. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining high cleaning standards, managing resources, and acting as the main point of contact on site to ensure all works are completed to company and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Staff Supervision & Support
• Supervise cleaning operatives on site and across multiple locations
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure staff follow company cleaning standards
• Train new and existing staff to company procedures and quality expectations
• Monitor performance, attendance, and timekeeping
• Address minor issues on site and escalate where necessary
Operational Duties
• Carry out cleaning duties alongside the team when required
• Sign off completed jobs and ensure quality checks are carried out
• Add jobs to the schedule as instructed or when client requirements change
• Liaise with clients, site managers, and office staff regarding works
• Ensure works are completed within agreed timeframes
Vans, Equipment & Stock
• Oversee company vans assigned to teams (cleanliness, checks, reporting defects)
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained
• Monitor stock levels and request replenishment as required
• Ensure COSHH and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Health & Safety
• Ensure RAMS and site-specific procedures are followed
• Carry out basic site risk assessments and toolbox talks
• Promote safe working practices across all sites
Requirements
• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior cleaning role
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of work
• Ability to manage staff confidently and professionally
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
• Good communication and organisational skills
• CSCS card beneficial but not essential (training can be provided)
