Location: Wrexham
Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 DOE
Shift Pattern: Double Days | Monday to Friday

We're working with a leading food manufacturer in Wrexham that's recently undergone major investment-relocating to a new site and installing state-of-the-art equipment to drive the next phase of their growth. As part of this expansion, they're now looking to bring an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer into their close-knit team.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly-reacting to breakdowns, carrying out proactive maintenance, and playing a key role in installations and upgrades across a range of manufacturing equipment.
You'll work closely with colleagues in Engineering, Technical, Operations, and HR to ensure the site runs safely, efficiently, and in line with both Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns

Diagnose faults and carry out effective, lasting repairs

Support the installation and commissioning of new production equipment

Work closely with other departments and external contractors/suppliers

Promote and implement continuous improvement across the plant

Keep clear and detailed maintenance records

Contribute to a safe working environment through strong compliance
What We're Looking For
-
NVQ Level 3 minimum in Engineering (HNC/18th Edition with Part P preferred)

Strong background in maintenance within a food/FMCG manufacturing setting

Experience working with food processing and wrapping/packing machinery

Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills (both electrical and mechanical)

Proactive and hands-on approach with good communication skills

Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
