About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a growing commercial team as an Ecommerce Content Administrator. This role is ideal for someone with strong written English, solid computer skills, and a keen interest in content creation and digital product management.

The position involves supporting day-to-day operations by creating and managing product content to ensure website listings are clear, accurate, and professionally presented.


Key Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain product data accurately using internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Conduct product research to ensure content is relevant, informative, and tailored to the intended audience.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure 100% accuracy, professional tone, and readability.
  • Write engaging and accurate product descriptions and select appropriate imagery.
  • Share product and content information across departments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with the build-out of new product and printer listings.
  • Stay informed on new releases, features, and category-specific trends.
  • Maintain and update process documentation.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, formatting, and imagery across all content.
  • Manage multiple content tasks simultaneously, prioritising based on team and business needs.
  • Take pride in producing high-quality work that reflects professional standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • A-Level or equivalent qualification in English Language, Literature, or a related subject.
  • Excellent written English with strong grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience creating or managing written content (e.g., product descriptions, website or marketing content).
  • Well-organised, able to manage multiple tasks independently and take ownership.

Ideal Candidate

This role offers excellent learning opportunities and is particularly suited to someone who has recently completed A-Levels or a similar qualification and is looking to build a career in ecommerce content and digital merchandising.
