A high-achieving Secondary School near Walworth in Southwark is seeking a Geography Graduate Academic Mentor from September 2025. Key Responsibilities

As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Use your degree and passions within Geography to inspire excellent learning outcomes
  • Support students with learning both in and outside of the classroom
  • Hold both 1-1 and small group study interventions
  • Help pupils stay engaged and on track with their learning
  • Encourage students to explore people, places, and environments with enthusiasm and curiosity

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed as a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you should have:

  • A minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree (any subject)
  • A genuine interest in working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and supportive attitude
  • A desire to train as a teacher in the future
  • Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
