Your Role as a Graduate Academic Tutor:
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small group tuition in core subjects (Maths, English, Science, or Humanities).
- Support students’ academic progress and confidence ahead of GCSE and A-Level exams.
- Assist experienced subject teachers in lesson planning, assessment, and targeted intervention.
- Work with SEN students and help tailor support to individual learning needs.
- Contribute to revision sessions, enrichment programmes, and mentoring schemes.
- Receive ongoing professional development and mentoring from senior staff.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 or above degree from a Russell Group (or similarly prestigious) university.
- Strong subject knowledge in a STEM or core discipline.
- Clear communication skills and an enthusiasm for motivating young learners.
- A genuine interest in education, youth development, or future teacher training.
- Resilience, professionalism, and the ability to build rapport quickly.
