This full-time, long-term Graduate Chemistry Teaching Assistant role is perfect for a science graduate looking to build classroom confidence and gain practical experience in a dynamic science department.

Graduate Chemistry Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting Chemistry and General Science lessons across KS3–KS4
- Assisting with lab preparation, equipment setup, and demonstrations
- Delivering one-to-one and small group academic interventions
- Encouraging scientific thinking and enquiry-based learning
- Collaborating with experienced teachers to enhance lesson content
- Helping ensure health and safety during practical sessions
- Supporting students preparing for GCSE Science exams
Graduate Chemistry Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For
- A 2:1 degree or above in Chemistry or a closely related subject
- Strong communication skills and a passion for science education
- Previous experience with young people (e.g. mentoring, tutoring, school-based roles) is advantageous
- A detail-focused, proactive, and professional mindset
- An interest in pursuing teaching or a career in STEM education
