Weekly Pay (PAYE): £500–£550 | Full-Time | Term-Time Only

 Location: Enfield, North London (EN2) – 10 minutes from Enfield Town
Start: October 2025

The Opportunity - Graduate Classroom Assistant

Our client is looking for enthusiastic graduates to join our team as Graduate Classroom Assistants. This is a full-time, term-time role designed for those interested in teaching, educational psychology, or child development careers.

You’ll work closely with class teachers, the SENCo and support staff, building hands-on classroom experience that will set you up for teacher training or specialist pathways.

What you’ll be doing - Graduate Classroom Assistant

  • Assisting with the smooth running of daily lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Running small-group learning in phonics, literacy or numeracy
  • Providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs (SEN, EAL, speech & language)
  • Preparing/adapting resources to meet different learning styles
  • Monitoring progress and behaviour, feeding back to teachers
  • Helping create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

About you - Graduate Classroom Assistant

  • A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above (all subjects considered; Psychology, English, Education desirable)
  • Some prior experience working/volunteering with children (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, youth work)
  • Patient, adaptable and eager to learn through training and feedback
  • Available for the full academic year (term-time only)
  • Right to work in the UK and DBS (or willingness to obtain)
