We’re working with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a graduate eager to step into the classroom and support young learners in developing a love for geography and the world they live in.

Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 geography lessons
- Assisting with lesson planning, classroom activities, and geographical case studies
- Delivering small group and 1:1 academic support to enhance understanding and engagement
- Encouraging critical thinking, enquiry-based learning, and global awareness
- Helping manage classroom behaviour and promoting a respectful, curious learning environment
- Contributing to extracurricular opportunities such as geography clubs and field trips
- Collaborating with teachers to refine and deliver exciting and relevant lesson content
Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or higher in Geography, Environmental Science, or a related subject
- A genuine passion for geography education and making learning engaging
- Any previous experience working with young people is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- A supportive, curious, and proactive approach to learning support
- Aspiration to pursue a career in teaching, education, or public engagement
