Location: Near Bermondsey, Southwark - London
Contract: Full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:30am-16:00pm
Salary: £500-£600 per week

As a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant you will ensure students in Humanities stay engaged and make excellent progress, all whilst developing your own skills by gaining hands-on school experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across KS3 and KS4, working alongside experienced teachers to build your skills and confidence in a school setting
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons in core subjects
- Provide one-to-one and small group academic support
- Help pupils stay engaged and on track with their learning using your passion and academic expertise
- Assist with behaviour management and classroom organisation
- Prepare resources and materials to support learning
Who We’re Looking For
To succeed as a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant, you should have:
- A degree 2:1 or higher in History, Language, Classical Studies, Religion, Geography or Philosophy or any related Humanities degree
- A proactive attitude combined with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching
- A genuine interest in working with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An interest in potentially training as a teacher in the future
- Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
