Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Candidate Speciation

KPi Education are on the lookout for a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant who holds:

  • A 1st or 2:1 degree in a subject such as Education, Psychology, English, or a closely related area
  • Excellent academic background, including strong GCSEs and A-Levels especially in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children, whether through tutoring, volunteering, mentoring, or in a classroom setting
  • Fantastic communication skills and the ability to explain, encourage, and inspire young learners
  • A real passion for primary education and perhaps a long-term goal to become a teacher one day!

 

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Role Responsibilities

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll be a guiding hand, a reassuring smile, and a cheerleader in the wings for our brilliant young learners. Every day is different but here’s just a taste of the magic you’ll make:

  • Supporting classroom learning across the primary age range, helping to bring lessons to life in ways that stick and sparkle
  • Sitting side-by-side with pupils for 1:1 or small group support, gently helping them take brave steps forward whether with phonics, numbers, or friendships
  • Assisting the teacher in preparing creative resources, setting up enchanting learning environments, and noticing those little lightbulb moments
  • Offering encouragement and a listening ear, helping children to feel safe, seen, and supported throughout the day
  • Spotting who might need a little extra help and who’s ready for the next challenge
