Key Information
- Start Date: September 2025 (interviews ongoing)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term (term-time only)
- Hours: Monday to Friday – 32.5 hours per week
- Salary: Up to £560 per week
- Location: Primary schools across Bradford and surrounding areas
The Role
- Support pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 through in-class assistance and targeted interventions
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support for children with additional needs
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other education professionals
- Help implement learning strategies and classroom management techniques
- Support pupils both academically and socially, fostering confidence and progress
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 2:1 degree (Education, Psychology, English, Maths or similar fields advantageous)
- Passion for working with children and a genuine interest in education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, adaptability, and professionalism in a classroom setting
Desirable:
- Experience working with children in an educational or youth-based setting
- Knowledge or awareness of SEN, EAL, or behaviour support strategies
- Previous experience in a school environment
