We are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Birmingham to recruit a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for graduates eager to gain classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or further education-related study.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant - What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
  • Leading small group activities and one-to-one interventions
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management
  • Encouraging academic and personal development in young pupils
  • Helping prepare pupils for assessments and key transitions
  • Getting involved in extracurricular activities and school events

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject
  • A genuine passion for working with children in a primary school setting
  • Experience with children (e.g. volunteering, mentoring, tutoring)
  • A patient, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to a future career in education
  • Dependable, proactive, and a strong team player
