We’re working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in Nuneaton to recruit a dedicated Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, perfect for a Psychology graduate seeking practical school experience before pursuing teacher training, educational psychology, or a related postgraduate path.
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Why You Should Apply:

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing support in EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classrooms
- Leading focused 1:1 and small group interventions (academic, social, and emotional)
- Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning differences
- Aiding with classroom routines, differentiated resources, and inclusive learning strategies
- Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience
- Working collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists
- Assisting with play-based and therapeutic activities throughout the school day
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 or higher in Psychology or a closely related field
- Strong interest in child development and inclusive practice
- Experience with children or young people (e.g. schools, tutoring, SEN environments, youth work)
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patience
- Proactive and enthusiastic with a drive to support young learners
- Ambition to pursue a career in teaching, educational psychology, or mental health
