Your Role – Graduate Science Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students and teachers in the delivery of engaging and meaningful Science lessons. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in practical and theory-based lessons across the Science curriculum.
- Leading small group activities and one-to-one academic support sessions.
- Helping students prepare for GCSE Science exams through focused interventions.
- Collaborating with experienced Science teachers to plan and prepare lesson materials.

Who We’re Looking For – Graduate Science Teaching Assistant
To succeed as a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you should have:
- A 2:1 or First-Class degree in a Science-based subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Natural Sciences).
- Strong academic background, particularly in Science at A-Level and GCSE.
- A genuine interest in education and a long-term goal of becoming a qualified teacher.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic approach.
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is advantageous but not essential.
