Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role
- Full-time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role
- Earn up to £550 per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM – Term time only
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
- Assist in the implementation of tailored learning plans, working alongside teachers and support staff.
- Help students develop social, communication, and life skills, preparing them for greater independence.
- Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management, ensuring a positive learning environment.
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
- A 2:1 or above degree in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related field.
- A genuine passion for working with young people with SEN.
- Strong communication, empathy, and patience.
- Previous experience in mentoring, tutoring, support work, or SEN environments is highly desirable.
- Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to approach challenges positively.
