About the Role - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

A welcoming SEN school in Welwyn Garden City is looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This long-term role is ideal for graduates considering careers in education, psychology, therapy or youth support.

You’ll work with pupils aged 6–16 with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

What You’ll Do 0- Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups (academic and emotional)
• Help build confidence, independence, and participation
• Assist teachers in creating inclusive, engaging classrooms
• Adapt resources and track pupil progress

About You - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

• Graduate with a 2:2 degree or higher (Psychology/Education preferred)
• Patient, adaptable, resilient and a strong communicator
• Experience with SEN, mentoring, or youth work helpful but not essential
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
