As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils across KS3 and KS4, working alongside experienced teachers to build your skills and confidence in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons in the subject that you love
- Provide one-to-one and small group academic support
- Build strong relationships with pupils to help them stay engaged and on track with their learning
- Coach and mentor students, helping with behaviour management and classroom organisation
- Contribute your unique qualities and interests in extra-curricular activities
Who We’re Looking For
To succeed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you should have:
- An undergraduate degree (2:1 or higher) in any subject area
- A genuine interest in working with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and supportive attitude
- A interest to train as a teacher in the future
- Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
