This full-time role is ideal for aspiring teachers looking to train in 2026 or beyond.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils across KS3 and KS4, working alongside experienced teachers to build your skills and confidence in a school setting.


 Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons in the subject that you love
  • Provide one-to-one and small group academic support
  • Build strong relationships with pupils to help them stay engaged and on track with their learning
  • Coach and mentor students, helping with behaviour management and classroom organisation
  • Contribute your unique qualities and interests in extra-curricular activities

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree (2:1 or higher) in any subject area
  • A genuine interest in working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and supportive attitude
  • A interest to train as a teacher in the future
  • Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
