A supportive and ambitious secondary school in Manchester is now recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team for the full academic year starting September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to build classroom confidence, support pupils academically, and make a real difference in a secondary school setting.

- Full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant role (Monday–Friday)

Responsibilities:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons. You will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group academic support to students
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and engagement
- Adapt resources for pupils with SEND or lower prior attainment
- Build strong, positive relationships with staff and students
- Help track pupil progress and raise attainment

Who should apply?
We’re looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who:
- Has a 2:1 degree or higher (any subject considered)

- Is based in the UK and has the right to work full-time (no sponsorship available)
Previous experience as a tutor, mentor, or camp leader is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
