The Role
As a STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students across Science, Maths, or Engineering subjects (KS3–KS5)
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to raise attainment and build confidence
- Assist in practical experiments, lesson planning, and classroom activities
- Gain valuable classroom experience while being supported by outstanding teachers
This role is ideal for graduates who are considering a career in teaching. A salaried teacher training opportunity is available from September 2026 for successful candidates.
✅ Requirements
- A 1st or 2:1 degree in a STEM subject (Science, Maths, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.)
- Strong A levels and GCSEs in relevant subjects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for education and working with young people
