This outstanding secondary school is eager to support a passionate Mathematics graduate in their journey toward a career in teaching, offering the opportunity to join the team as a Maths Graduate Unqualified Teacher, with start dates available immediately or from September 2025.
Maths Graduate Unqualified Teacher – Person Specification:
• Maths Graduate Unqualified Teacher must have a 2:1 or higher in an Maths or STEM-related degree
• Hold a strong desire or interest in becoming a teacher in the future
• A passion for Physics and sharing that enthusiasm with younger learners
• Experience tutoring or mentoring is desired but is not essential
• Excellent communication skills and the drive to build confidence in the classroom
• Confident character with natural enthusiasm and an engaging personality

This role is designed as a launchpad into teaching. After your initial year, you'll be eligible to join the school’s in-house teacher training programme — fully salaried and designed to help you earn your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in just one year, with ongoing mentorship throughout.
