£30,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day (flexible start time)
Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a temporary role? We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Administrator to join an established team on a long term temporary basis.
This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely administration of payroll for both weekly and monthly pay runs. You will collaborate closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure a seamless and compliant payroll process. Your role will be crucial in supporting our employees with their payroll and benefits needs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and continuously improving our procedures for greater efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute weekly and monthly payroll processes.Third-Party Payments: Manage the processing of payments to third parties.
- Compile and submit the monthly pension contribution file
- Prepare and process the monthly HMRC payment and other ad hoc BACS payments.
- Assist in the preparation of P11ds and year-end procedures.
- Regularly review and enhance payroll procedures for efficiency.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in managing payroll services and ensuring payroll compliance.
- Qualifications: Progress towards CIPP certification or equivalent experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation.
- Proficiency in using payroll, T&A, and other systems to enhance efficiency.
- High numeracy and literacy skills.
- Effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
