Working for a well-established organisation based in Crewe. We are currently seeking an experienced HR candidate to join the growing organisation. As People Partner you will provide support and insight to strategic and operational business and people planning activity. Being a contributor, promoter, influencer and facilitator, ensuring a brilliant people experience is top priority. Collaborative working with operational & front line management teams, you will use your broad experience to provide effective, value adding people business partnering. Developing and delivering people initiatives aligned to strategic business priorities, operational needs and functional direction you will play a key part in creating a best-in-class employee experience.

 Key Duties:

  • Build strong working relationships across the management teams working collaboratively to enable a strength based, high performance culture
  • Enable line manager development, through formal & informal learning and commercially focused support and problem solving that generates their self-confidence and progression
  • Support Managers to deliver best in class resourcing and on-boarding, ensuring the experience of joining puts new employees and the customer at the heart of everything they do.
  • Use employee engagement metrics and reporting to help Managers to identify issues and actions for continuous improvement
  • Support Managers to create and deliver improvement plans in key people areas such as engagement, performance, retention, and absence management
  • Contribute to discussions around people capability requirements to define and deliver functional development plans that evolve how they work
  • Support the implementation of change by working with and coaching managers; bringing to life the impact that the changes will have on the business area and employees
  • Be the expert to advise on common people issues and risks, supported by data, analysis and judgement. Making recommendations and creating action plans
  • Provide support on projects and complex ER cases, leading and taking ownership as appropriate

 Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working as a people business partner, with strong relationships at all levels
  • Broad professional HR knowledge balanced with commercial application and know how
  • Interested in how businesses function and understands the part you play in its success
  • Previous Experience working with operational frontline teams in previous roles
  • Ability to interpret risks and opportunities and develop creative solutions
  • Can quickly establish trusted relationships with all levels of stakeholders
  • Good listening skills, resilient and able to influence others
  • Experience initiating and contributing to delivery of change projects
  • Understand the value of data and insight and can tell the story
  • Able to self-manage, effectively plan and prioritise and make it happen at pace
  • Have ambition, energy, and determination to succeed
  • Understands the challenges faced by others and makes themselves available
