Sous Chef

KPI Recruiting are looking for a Sous Chef to work for our large Hospitality Client based in Nantwich.

As a Sous chef you will be supporting the head chef in a large kitchen delivering exceptional dining experiences for their guests.

You will be working in a fast paced catering enviroment aiming to exceed the guest exceptions

Hours of work:

7:30 until 11:00 OR 17:30 until 23:00

Opportunity to work straight through or do split shifts.

Role responsibilities:

  • Accountability for exceptional food standards
  • To control stock management
  • To manage Departmental Budgets
  • Providing a safe and secure environment by adhering to the companies Health & Safety policy and Food Safety Management System
  • Administrative work
  • Deputising for the Head Chef in their absence
  • Taking part in all appropriate training sessions
  • To train & develop your team whilst leading by example

Experience & Training:

  • previous Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef experience,
  • working ideally within a large scale catering environment
  • It is essential that you have a Level 2 & Level 3 Food Safety Certificate
