• Full-time preferred: Year 5 class (split group of 18 children each morning) and Year 4 on Fridays

Year 5 Teacher – What You’ll Be Doing:

• Teaching a split Year 5 class in the mornings (approx. 18 pupils)
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that stretch and support all learners
• Teaching Year 4 on Fridays, bringing consistency and creativity to a full school week
• Working closely with parallel class teachers, support staff and leadership
• Supporting pupil progress through targeted, high-quality English and maths teaching
• Contributing to the wider life of the school with positivity and professionalism

Year 5 Teacher – What We’re Looking For:

• Prior Key Stage 2 teaching experience is essential – ideally Year 5 or Year 6
• Strong English and maths subject knowledge, with evidence of good outcomes
• Confident classroom presence and a nurturing, inclusive teaching approach
• Flexibility to work either full-time or mornings-only (with scope for afternoon cover work)
• A team player with a reflective, proactive attitude to professional growth
• Committed to maintaining high expectations while supporting the whole child
