Job Purpose:
Due to plant expansion and constant increase in order we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or electrical bias) to ensure machinery downtime remains minimal and proactively improve efficiencies across site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain plant, equipment, and utilities across the site.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Complete routine PPM work and document tasks accurately.
- Respond to reactive maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Utilize CMMS (SAP) for maintenance activities.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping (5S methodology).
- Promote and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support during production breakdowns.
- Keep up to date with plant processes and technical advancements.
- Assist shift supervision teams with guidance and technical expertise.
Requirements:
- Apprentice trained or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline.

A high volume manufacturer in Wigan are seeking a Maintenance Engineer (mechanical or electrical bias) to minimise plant downtime, assist with projects and implement PPM/ Continuous improvement across their brand new, state of the art facility.
Reporting in to the newly appointed Senior Engineer, this position offers training and development from day one. This is a new position within a new site providing tonnes of future opportunities.
Responsibilities after training:
- Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety equipment and mechanical systems
- Carry out planned Maintenance activities.
- Minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets
- Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required
- Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training
- To develop and implement process improvements
- Electrical fault finding/ repair on sensors, motors, panels, drives etc...
About You
- Time served Engineer from a high volume, continuous production environment.
- You will ideally have an electrical qualification and fault-finding experience however this isn't essential.
- As the Engineer you will be happy to work on your own or part of a team. This is a great opportunity to put your own stamp on the department and lead from the front.

Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated PMO professional to lead and support strategic and operational change programmes. This role will act as the central coordination point for programme governance, controls, reporting, resourcing, and financial tracking, while working closely with senior stakeholders to provide clear visibility of performance, risks, issues, dependencies, and budget position.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain PMO governance, controls, reporting, and assurance activities across multiple change programmes
- Develop, track, and maintain a comprehensive project documentation library
- Produce and enhance programme reporting, dashboards, and management information for senior stakeholders
- Monitor delivery against plans and milestones, providing challenge and mitigation where risks or deviations arise
- Support delivery teams in identifying and removing blockers to ensure successful outcomes
- Assist in analysing costs, benefits, risks, and interdependencies, ensuring actions are incorporated into plans
- Define and maintain processes to ensure accurate planning and estimation
- Track and monitor project benefits to ensure expected outcomes are realised

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage at all levels
