The rate of pay as a Meat Packer is:
- £12.71 p/h
The duties and responsibilities as a Meat Packer are:
- Carry out final check of packed products to ensure item packed is correct and weight specified match customer order
- Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy
- Ensure customer internal and external company and site compliance
- Always comply with company policy and procedure on safe food handling and hygiene
- Report any accidents/absences are reported in line with site reporting procedures
- Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with attached H&S responsibilities
- General operative tasks require a substantial amount of physical ability, must be physically fit

Meat Production Operative – Full Training Provided
Sherborne | £13.50 per hour | 07:00–17:00, 5 days out of 7
KPI Recruiting are looking for Meat Production Operatives to join our client in Sherborne.
No previous experience is required – full training is provided!
This is a hands-on, physical role within an abattoir environment. You will be trained to prepare, dress and trim carcasses to company and customer standards, while following strict health & safety, animal welfare and production procedures.
We're looking for people who:
- Are reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Are physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
- Can follow instructions and work safely
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Have good attention to detail
Previous experience in meat production, food production, manufacturing, factory or warehouse work is an advantage but is not essential.

As an Abattoir Operative your working hours and days are:

The rate of pay as an Abattoir Operative is:

The duties and responsibilities as an Abattoir Operative are:
- Ensure carcasses are dressed and trimmed according to ABP and Customer specifications as directed by the Production Supervisor
- Ensure work is carried out to the best ability to meet production deadlines
- Ensure that all parts of the carcass are trimmed to produce optimum production yield while adhering to legalisation and company requirements
- Maintain responsibility for operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery and report faults to supervisor in a timely manner
- Demonstrate high levels of animal welfare
- Work in accordance with SOP’s
- Carry out all procedures in a safe manner in accordance with H&S legalisation

The duties and responsibilities as a Production Technician are:
- Ensure that the Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Policy is adhered to at all times
- Work within business guidelines and procedures at all times and report any safety hazards identified
- Responsible for maintaining the defined 6S Standard of the area
