As a Warehouse Operative your working hours and days are:
- Monday- Friday

The rate of pay as a Warehouse Operative is:
- £13.00- £15.00 p/h
As a Warehouse Operative you duties and responsibilities are:
- Transport pallets safely around the wareholuse using an electric hand truck
- Stretch wrap pallets containing sheeted materils and coils to ensure safe storage and transport
- Use an electric hand banding tool to securely band pallets
- Book pallets into stock using the warehouse computer system (PC)
- Complete all required warehouse paperwork and documentation accurately
- Follow packing specifications when preparing goods for storage or dispatch
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Physically move stock between different warehouse floors using floor trucks and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
The ideal candidate for a Warehouse Operative would require:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential due to paperwork and stock recording requirements
- Ability to use basic computer systems for stock booking and documentation
- Experience using warehouse equipment such as electric hand trucks and banding tools is desirable
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate stock handling and paperwork
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience with pallet handling, stretch, wrapping and loading vehicles
- Must be able to work in a busy warehouse environment

- Manufacturing 1 year experience is required

- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in an industrial setting
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings and late evenings
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and operate machinery safely
