7.5T Driver – Home Delivery (Daventry)

Location: Daventry
Pay: £14.45 per hour
Start times: 05:00–06:00
Working pattern: Any 5 days from 6 (Monday–Sunday rota)
Job type: Temporary to permanent
Start: Immediate start available (subject to assessment)

About the role

We are looking for experienced 7.5T Delivery Drivers to join a busy home delivery operation delivering large items directly to customers’ homes.

You will be representing a well-known UK homeware retailer, completing 15–20 drops per day, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and with strong customer service.

This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting involved, so a good level of fitness is required.

Key responsibilities

• Completing home deliveries to residential customers
• Loading and unloading goods safely
• Carrying out 15–20 deliveries per shift
• Providing excellent customer service at each drop
• Completing vehicle checks and paperwork
• Following all road safety and tachograph regulations

Requirements

• Valid 7.5T (C1) driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid digital tachograph card
• Maximum of 9 penalty points
• No previous disqualifications (DD or DR endorsements not accepted)
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
