Help Young People Overcome Barriers to Education

Are you a graduate looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in young people's lives?

We are recruiting a resilient and adaptable Behaviour Mentor to provide one-to-one support to young people experiencing behavioural difficulties, additional needs, school exclusions or time away from education.

You will help pupils rebuild confidence, develop positive behaviours and re-engage with learning through tailored mentoring in educational settings and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support.

• Build positive relationships and encourage engagement with education.

• Support emotional regulation, social skills and positive behaviour.

• Work with school staff to support individual progress.

• Accompany pupils on planned outings and community activities.

What We're Looking For

• A graduate from any discipline; Psychology, Sociology, Criminology or Education are advantageous.

• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• The ability to remain calm under pressure.

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Previous experience is beneficial but not essential for candidates with the right attitude and transferable skills.
