Account Manager
Location: Winsford
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
The Role
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Account Manager to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role sits at the heart of operations, acting as the key link between customers and internal teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
You will manage client relationships, coordinate orders, and oversee the journey from enquiry through to delivery, playing a vital role in customer satisfaction and account growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Act as the main point of contact for all account-related queries
- Produce accurate internal job sheets, ensuring all order details are captured correctly
- Liaise with clients to confirm specifications, resolve queries, and manage changes
- Order stock and materials, coordinating with suppliers on pricing, availability, and lead times
- Work closely with internal departments including sales, production, and operations
- Manage order schedules, priorities, and customer deadlines
- Ensure products are delivered in line with client expectations and requirements
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business activity
- Handle customer issues, queries, or escalations in a professional and timely manner
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in account management, customer service, sales support, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Experience managing orders, job sheets, or project workflows
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Good commercial awareness with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong IT skills, including email, spreadsheets, and order processing systems
- Experience within manufacturing, construction, or building products (advantageous)
- Product knowledge relating to doors, joinery, or similar (beneficial)

- Potential for occasional travel depending on business needs
