Duties:
Working Location: Midlands (SY, LE, NN, MK, ST, WS, B, CV, TF, WV, DY, WR)
Reporting To: Sales Director
Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 & Friday 08:30-16:30.
Salary: TBD – Dependent on Experience.
Our client is a well-established, rapidly growing manufacturer of high-quality LED products. Due to expansion and internal promotions we are currently looking for multiple external sales/account managers to join our team to cover geographical areas.
The Role
- You will be responsible for growing the business by developing new and existing relationships.
- You will work with wholesalers to increase sales both across the trade counter and externally.
- It is expected that your time will be focused on both national and independent electrical wholesalers.
- Monitor and manage all contacts, opportunities and objectives.
- Achieve tasks, objectives and budgeted sales targets within the required timeframes.
General Duties
- Co-operate in the operation of all company policies, including the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
- Working as part of a close team.
- Perform other duties as required to assist the smooth running of the business.
- Follow up outstanding items to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Experienced sales professional with a solid knowledge of the electrical industry.
- Possess a high level of negotiation, presentation and communication skills at all levels.
- Able to network across various decision makers and influencers to identify customer requirements through knowledge.
- A professionally presented, confident and self-motivated individual.
- Experience and knowledge of lighting products and applications are desirable, through not essential.
