Duties:

Are you sales savvy? Have an interest or experience in steel processing? Maybe your looking to work for a company that prides themselves on their determination to provide excellence by investing in their people and forging unparallel relationships? 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing recommendations.
  2. Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calling, visiting and research or responding to inquiries generated from advertisements.
  3. Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities, leveraging leads, moving through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls. 
  4. Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers, achieving 50,000 tons of sales.
  5. Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with new customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
  6. Develop a deep understanding of company products and services.
  7. Monitor, meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators, demonstrating consistent drive and motivation to succeed.
  8. Complete necessary administrative tasks, including documentation.
  9. Collaborating with the Sales Manager to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.
  10. Performing competitor analysis and share you with senior management team.
  11. Communicate effectively reporting on any problems, internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales.
  • Exposure within manufacturing/steel industry is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Excellent sales negotiation skills.
  • MUST be willing to travel - this position will be mainly based out of office travelling.
