Before you scroll past…
- Are you a Chemistry Teacher who actually loves the subject — not just teaches it?
- Do you want access to labs, equipment, and support that let you deliver proper practical science?
- Ready to join a school where Chemistry is growing, results are climbing, and ambition is high?
KPI Education are working with a highly regarded secondary school in West London that is looking to appoint a Chemistry Teacher or ECT to strengthen their Science department from September.
This is a school on the rise — strong leadership, improving outcomes, and a clear focus on STEM excellence.
Why this Chemistry role stands out:
This isn’t a “teach general science and see what happens” type of post.
- Dedicated lab spaces with a strong focus on practical delivery
- A department that protects subject specialism at KS4 & KS5
- Increasing uptake in A-Level Chemistry year-on-year
- Students progressing into Medicine, Pharmacy, and STEM degrees
- A culture where staff are encouraged to teach creatively and think beyond the spec
The results speak:
- GCSE Science results trending above national averages
- A-Level Chemistry showing strong progress scores and retention
- Improved attainment across all ability ranges through targeted intervention
- Behaviour systems that allow teachers to focus on teaching, not firefighting
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching Chemistry across KS3–KS5 (depending on experience)
- Delivering engaging, practical-led lessons that bring the subject to life
- Supporting students aiming for top grades and competitive university pathways
- Contributing to a collaborative department with shared goals and high standards
Who this suits:
- A qualified Chemistry Teacher or ECT
- A subject specialist with strong academic grounding
- Someone who values practical science and student engagement
- A teacher who wants to be part of a department that is improving, evolving, and ambitious
Let’s see where you stand:
- How do you make abstract Chemistry concepts feel real and relevant?
- What’s your approach to delivering high-impact practical lessons safely and effectively?
- How do you stretch top-end students aiming for A/A* at A-Level?
- What would students say about your Chemistry lessons after 6 weeks?
This is a genuine opportunity to step into a Chemistry role where you can make a visible impact and develop your career in a supportive, ambitious school.
If this sounds like your kind of role, send your CV and cover letter to Ryan at KPI Education today.
Interviews are being lined up now — don’t miss out.
