Experienced HGV Class 2 (18T Rigid) Driver – Recycling Centre

Monday to Friday | Start Times: 04:30 – 06:30 | £15.50 per hour | Temp to Perm

KPI Recruiting are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 (18T Rigid) Drivers to join our client based at a busy recycling centre.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable, hard-working drivers who don't mind getting involved with manual work.

Job Description

• Monday to Friday shift pattern
• Start times between 04:30 and 06:30
• Driving an 18-tonne rigid vehicle with a tail lift
• Collecting and transporting recyclable materials
• Handballing and loading/unloading materials as required
• Assisting within the warehouse when driving work is unavailable
• Occasional nights out may be required
• Night out allowance: £22 per night
• Temp to perm opportunity
• £15.50 per hour (PAYE) + Holiday Pay

Due to the physical nature of the role, applicants must be physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties throughout the day.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential
• No IN, DD or DR endorsements on licence
• Hi-vis vest and safety boots
• A positive attitude and willingness to work in both driving and warehouse duties when required
