A high-achieving secondary school in Liverpool City Centre (L1) is looking for an ambitious Maths graduate to join its Initial Teacher Training (ITT) pathway. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain paid classroom experience while preparing to become a qualified secondary Maths teacher.

From your first day, you'll work alongside experienced teachers who will mentor and support your development, giving you the confidence and skills needed to progress into teacher training.

The Role

As a Graduate Maths Trainee Teacher, you will:

  • Support the delivery of engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
  • Build pupils' confidence and problem-solving skills
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation and classroom activities
  • Develop your teaching practice through coaching and mentoring
  • Progress towards a career in secondary teaching through the ITT route

Entry Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • A 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a closely related subject
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • A Levels at Grade C or above, or a Level 3 BTEC qualification
  • A genuine passion for Mathematics and education

Please note: We cannot accept GCSE or A Level equivalency qualifications for this role.
