KPI Recruiting are currently looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join a leading food production and packing facility on a seasonal contract. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable team during their busiest months.

You’ll play a key role in the movement and handling of stock within the warehouse, while also supporting general operational tasks during both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT to move hampers and large containers
• Assist with shift planning and set-up for the next team
• Carry out general warehouse tasks as needed
• Adapt to shift changes, including switching to night shifts during peak season

Shift Details & Pay:

August – September

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour

October – December (Peak Period)

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Pay Rate: £17.29 per hour

You must be available and willing to switch to night shifts during peak season.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (RTITB or equivalent)
• Previous experience operating an FLT in a warehouse environment
• Strong attendance record and timekeeping
• Flexibility to work extended hours and shift transitions

Additional Workplace Information:

• Free parking, staff room, canteen, and smoking shelter available
• Smoking/vaping only permitted in designated areas
• Full PPE must be worn at all times in production areas
• No headphones, jewellery, false nails/lashes, or heavy makeup permitted
• Hair must be tied back and hygiene standards strictly followed
• Adherence to all marked walkways is mandatory
