Our client is a growing and customer-focused organisation seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Customer Support Agent to join their team in Crewe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer service professional who enjoys problem-solving, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and working within a fast-paced environment. The Role

As a Customer Support Agent, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing support via telephone and email. You will be responsible for resolving enquiries, managing complaints professionally, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout every interaction.

The role also involves supporting customers with technical service-related enquiries, including account administration and porting requests, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer service with problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and processes
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, working towards first-contact resolution where possible
  • Support customers with service administration and porting-related enquiries
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes within a CRM system
  • Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve technical or service-related queries
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge, procedures, and industry developments
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous customer service or customer support experience
  • An excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A positive, outgoing, and customer-focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude with a desire to learn and develop
