The Opportunity

We're recruiting for an experienced electrical engineer to join a leading, state of the art manufacturing business process/ production facility in Warrington.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance of all Electrical & Automation Control systems.
• Duty Holder for site Electrical distribution system, ensure legal compliance with maintenance of Fixed Electrical assets, High & Low Voltage
• Identifying-aging assets planning upgrades based on OEM life Cycle (PLC, HMI, Controls & Instrumentation)
• Good project experience skills with experience of Management of Contractors.
• Develop forward plans to improve the process availability and deliver reliability to a greater proactive and forward focused state. Utilising tools such as RCA, Pareto, FMEA etc.
• Control & delivery of 'Shutdown' maintenance plans & on time Execution.
• Experience of Root Cause Analysis and selecting strong countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence of issues.

About You

• Apprenticeship trained at NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and a willingness to take on challenges.
• Strong PLC Fault finding skills - Ladder logic, problem solving.
• Ideally you will have some HV experience although this isn't essential
