Duties:
Electrical Engineering Technician - Lancaster
£45,000 + premium overtime
Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm
1 in 5 on-call rota | Mileage paid for call-outs
I'm recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join a busy manufacturing site in Lancaster.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a manufacturing or industrial engineering background who enjoys being hands-on with machinery, fault finding and improving equipment reliability, with ongoing training and development opportunities available.
The Role
You'll be working as part of the site engineering team, supporting the maintenance and reliability of production machinery.
Day to day will include:

Electrical fault finding and breakdown support

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Root cause analysis and helping prevent repeat faults

Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment

Continuous improvement across machinery and processes

Using CMMS systems to record and plan maintenance activity

Supporting improvement projects including 5S and TPM

Keeping maintenance records and documentation up to date
What I'm Looking For

Strong manufacturing or industrial background

Level 3 Electrical Engineering / Electrical Maintenance qualification or equivalent

Good electrical fault-finding experience

Experience working on production machinery

Hands-on, proactive approach

18th Edition highly desirable
