Electrical Maintenance Engineer 4 on 4 Off

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems under pressure. Our site never stands still – producing a wide range of chilled speciality bakery products for major UK retailers – so you’ll be at the heart of keeping things moving.

What you’ll be doing:

Carrying out planned and predictive maintenance on a variety of production and packaging equipment.

Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns, diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical faults.

Supporting production teams with machinery changeovers, set-ups and optimisation.

Repairing and manufacturing parts to keep operations running smoothly.

Contributing to continuous improvement projects that drive efficiency and reliability.

Always maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and engineering best practice.
What we’re looking for:

A time-served apprenticeship (or equivalent) and recognised engineering qualification.

Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong electrical fault-finding and analysis skills.

A flexible, can-do attitude with excellent problem-solving ability.

Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
