We are working in partnership with a market-leading UK manufacturer to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Warrington.

The successful candidate will be based at a new production site, equipped with cutting-edge machinery.
The Role
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance role within a fast-paced production environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on automated production machinery

Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
-
Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production and engineering

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety and compliance standards

Working closely with Production and Quality teams to improve performance and efficiency
About You
We are looking for a proactive and driven engineer who can thrive in a busy manufacturing environment.
You will have:

A recognised engineering apprenticeship (minimum ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering)

Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills on automated machinery

Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Experience using CMMS systems and basic IT tools (e.g. MS Office)

Take a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving

Be able to work both independently and as part of a team

Remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Have a continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail
