The Opportunity

Are you an electrically qualified maintenance professional looking for a varied, hands-on role?

We're recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team of a well-established national business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of electrical maintenance and general facilities work, helping to keep multiple sites safe, compliant and operating efficiently.

No two days are the same. You'll be carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing installations and repairs, and supporting the overall upkeep of the sites.

A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites when required.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults

  • Complete electrical installations and minor project work

  • Undertake testing, inspections and certification where required

  • Support the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and facilities

  • Complete site surveys and maintenance reports

  • Order parts and maintain tools and equipment

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations

What we're looking for

Essential

  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)

  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems

Desirable

  • City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection)

  • Experience completing electrical certification

  • Previous maintenance or facilities experience

We're looking for someone who is flexible, proactive and happy to turn their hand to a variety of maintenance tasks. Whilst electrical work forms a key part of the role, you'll also support the wider upkeep of the facilities, so a positive, can-do attitude is essential.

What's on offer

  • £38,975 annual salary

  • Monday to Friday working pattern

  • 37.5-hour working week

  • Company vehicle for travel between sites

  • 33 days holiday

  • Company pension scheme

  • Healthcare Cashback Scheme

  • Staff discounts

  • Enhanced family leave

  • Share-save scheme

  • Paid charity volunteering days

  • Long-term career stability with a growing national business
