£35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Day Shift  - Involving some weekends 

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Engineering Storesperson to join a well-established heavy engineering company based in Milnthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys a varied, practical role within a busy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing engineering stores, including goods in/out and stock control
• Oiling and greasing of machinery as part of routine maintenance
• Pricing and sourcing of engineering parts and consumables
• Raising and authorising purchase orders (POs)
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Supporting maintenance and engineering teams with parts availability
• Maintaining accurate records and inventory systems

About You:

• Previous experience in an engineering stores or similar environment
• Good understanding of mechanical components and engineering parts
• Comfortable carrying out basic maintenance tasks (e.g. lubrication)
• Experience with purchasing and authorising POs
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours:

• Day-based role
• Flexibility required, including occasional weekend work
